The second of my festive shoots with The Cambridge Satchel Company and the lovely Charlotte Jacklin and Charlotte Melling, the ladies behind Betty Magazine. Charlotte Jacklin started Betty Magazine whilst she was at university and it started as a 20 page zine, it has evolved tenfold since then become extremely successful independent magazine, thriving in today’s independent publishing market.
If you follow @bettymagazine on instagram you’ll know the ladies are always one step ahead when it comes to finding the coolest new places in London. It was such a pleasure to meet and shoot with both Charlottes for one of my favourite brands.
They both share the same vision when it comes to their views on magazines, printed media, style and staying creative; I seriously urge you to go and check out the ladies interview over on The Cambridge Satchel Company Journal. It left me feeling very inspired. And after spending an afternoon shooting in Columbia Road (one of my favourite locations in London) I was also left feeling inspired too! These ladies ooze knowledge and passion for their crafts and it was so great to be able to capture that along with their favourite choices from the CSC AW16 and Christmas collection.
I am super excited to work with both The Cambridge Satchel Company and both Charlotte’s for Betty Magazine in 2017!
