Last week I played tourist with one of my oldest friends; Sofia, in dear old London town. Starting off with a cup of coffee in Soho, I couldn't resist taking Sofia to my favourite cafe; Speakeasy. We next headed down Big Ben where the sun decided to show its face and we watched as the hustle and bustle of the city sped by. We walked to Covent Garden and at this point we had worked up quite the appetite so grabbed lunch at 'Shake Shack', just looking at the candid burger photo below is making me wish I was there to have another! After a spot of browsing the beautiful shop windows we made our last stop of the day at Laduree. Pudding was most intrigued by the smell of the tasty treats when I got home, salted caramel is my current favourite.
It is really nice every once in a while to play tourist in your own city to soak up the beautiful architecture and culture that London has to offer. I must make an effort to do it more often. I hope you've all had a wonderful bank holiday weekend.
Looks like a fun day out, I miss London! xxx
