Barcelona - Altafuella

Beach! That was the first thing our holiday had to have. Relaxation was on the top of our list when it came to planning our holiday this year. An with personal recommendations of this beach it was a MUST on our to do list. Just a short train ride from the hustle an bustle of Barcelona we arrived at a extremely hot, beautiful and empty beach. We'd struck gold!

Beach, sun & beer what more could we have asked for. (Well bedsides the severe sun burn, but enough of that)! I think we could have honestly spent days there. You just couldn't believe this beautiful and empty beach was just a stones throw from the city beach, full to the brim. I know we'll definitely be heading back their next time too. 

That evening we headed for cocktails in the 80's inspired bar 'Polaroid' with film posters covering one wall and vintage camera's filling another there was certainly a kitsch and retro feel in the air. An can you really knock a bar that serves popcorn with every order, I don't think so! Fruity mojitos rounded off our evening and very sun filled day.
