Our first day in Barcelona we spent easing ourself into holiday mode. Our apartment, was less than five minutes from the main strip of shops and a great selection of great restaurants and cafe's. We took a stroll up Passeig de Gracia and saw Casa Batllo, which made us very intrigued to go back for our tour (post here). We lunched in El Raval, sipping on coffees and watching the world go by. Of course, our first evening called for plenty of tapas, a cold beer followed by a late night stroll down Las Ramblas to see what all of the fuss was about.
Lots more Barcelona posts to come - so keep your eyes pealed!
