Ile de Re with La Redoute - Take Two

We are back in Ile de Re for today's post, the second instalment continuing on from my last post where I was with La Redoute shooting a look book with Hannah and Erica. I can honestly say this was a very surreal and exciting trip. Being flown out abroad to a location I’ve never been to before to capture a look book for a brand I love and with influencers I admire. I sort of had to remind myself over our glasses of wine at dinner that this was actually work! Now that’s just incredible, if you’d have told me I’d be doing this exact job a few years ago I’m not sure I would have believed you but would have tried my damn hardest to make it a reality and what do you know...

A few of the shots in this post were shot in the smaller town/port of La Flotte, while we were staying in Central Saint Martin which is the area we got to explore the most. La Flotte was just as beautiful, when I get the chance to revisit Ile de Re I’m going to be sure to explore more of the island. Our hotel ‘ La Masion Douce’ was delightful, I loved the room decor which was very chic and French. I love the way each room is uniquely decorated, it felt more like we were staying in apartments rather than a hotel. The hotel was just a short walk to the main port of Central Saint Martin, you walked through cobble streets full of independent boutiques before emerging at the beautiful port.

Ile de Re couldn’t have been a more perfect location to showcase La Redoute's Autumn collection. I loved seeing how Hannah and Erica each styled their looks and how we were able to find locations to compliment them too. I shall certainly be planning another trip to Ile De Re as soon as possible!
