Blue skies I hear you cry! Something us Brits are seeing few and far between at the moment. I recently visited Brighton with my wee munchkin Amy for the night. This post is by no means a guide to Brighton, we had a very short but sweet visit and we're definitely planning another as soon as possible. Previous to this visit I'd only been to Brighton once before, so there's a lot more exploring to be done. I had a read through Olivia's posts on the city the night before I got the train from London, as I know it's a firm seaside favourite for her & Joe. Armed with Liv's recommendations and Amy's knowledge of the city we couldn't really go wrong!
Read on below to see what Amy and I got up to...
I arrived in Brighton on Wednesday afternoon and Amy met me at the train station. We headed straight to our hotel to dump our bags, and then we went exploring in search of coffee and cake! We began wandering around 'The Lanes' and stumbled upon 'England At Home' which had lots of great lifestyle and home decor pieces. Just wish I'd had more room in my tiny suitcase to take some pieces home! Also on Liv's recommendation we popped into 'Posh Totty' and saw lots of lovely jewelery pieces and cute motif candles. We stopped by 'The Flour Pot Bakery' for a pick me up. We both loved their decor; lots of copper, exposed pipes and copper details, very Pinterest!
On Thursday we woke bright and early to shoot outfits around the city. We went to 'Wai Kika Moo Kau' for breakfast. Somewhere that's been on my list to visit in Brighton for quite some time is 'Snoopers Paradise', not only for the infamous photobooth that I have seen countless times on instagram, but to see all that fabulous items they had on offer. I definitely need to make another visit pronto, there was so much to take in! Amy had to head off early that afternoon, so I took a walk along the pier and soaked up the sea air. I picked up an obligatory stick of Brighton Rock for Ollie before catching the train back to London.
Brighton, I'll see you again soon!
So excited to go now Amber! Your photos are just beautiful!
