Hunger Issue 4 Launch Party!

Working on Issue 4 of Hunger was such an amazing experience; from the cover shoots and fashion editorials to the music videos! I couldn't wait to celebrate the issue with the rest of the team at the launch party. Hosted at APT58 and sponsored by Patron Tequila, it was pretty clear the party was going to be a good one! Espresso martini's in hand (what else?) and with an insane music selection, it didn't take long to end up on the dancefloor! The 'Hunger' Booth attracted everyone in sight, from cover star Jessie J making an appearance and the lovely Will Poulter (pictured below) everyone wanted a chance to see their face on the Hunger magazine! It was a fantastic night to finish off my time at Rankin, so to all of my team, it was a pleasure and I promise this isn't the last you'll be seeing of me.

Springs Haze

There's something so self-indulgent about self portraits, I love and hate them. On one hand you feel a little silly being in front of the camera for once, but on the other, you're learning and who better to critique on your technique and the outcome than yourself? Taking self-portraits allows me to experiment with new ideas and also helps me to hone in on certain techniques. I've been a very busy young lady since the start of this year (can you believe it's mid April already?!) and it's already been such a whirlwind and amazing experience! I have an upcoming post about my time at Rankin, and lots more I'm looking forward to sharing with you lot! A big thank you to you all for reading and following my journey and little blog, I'm still pretty over whelmed that people look at my work and write such kind things about it, you're all incredibly lovely, so thank you. 

Bubbledogs

I've always been a sucker for a good hot dog. So when I heard 'Bubbledogs' was opening it was at the top of my to do list to go and try- just thinking back at the food is making my mouth drool! When I finally got the time to pay a visit, I wasn't let down, the restaurant had such a buzz and the service was excellent. The food was delicious, between us we had a 'horny dog' (corn-dog) 'sloppy Joe' (chilli dog) and a 'Jose' (Mexican styled hot dog). I definitely recommend you lot to go and have a try!

The evening called for cocktails, so what better than cocktails served in teacups; prohibition style. Adorned with cucumber sandwiches, shortbread biscuits and chocolate fingers, I'm already planning another tea time treat there!
